On Jun 10 2020, CAC Nantong Chemical Co.,Ltd (“CAC”) was award as Top 100 Sales in the Pesticide Industry Economic Operation Analysis Workshop in Qingdao, Jinan. CAC ranked 15^th in the list with 2.84 billion Yuan sales, displayed better performance than previous year-- ranked 20^th with 2.13 billion Yuan. CAC moved up in the rankings for consecutive years. Vice president Dr Pang accepted the prize as representative.

In 2019, pesticide industry in China was affected seriously by complicated challenge in many aspects such as China-U.S. trade war, exchange rate fluctuation and economic downturn. Meanwhile, stricter pesticide policy and higher environmental protection safety standard boosted pressure for domestic companies. In general, the total sales of Top 100 companies had reached to 183.6 billion Yuan with 6.87% year on year growth, obvious lower than 11.47% growth in 2018, and that trend is set to continue. As the reason for CAC keeping increase, Dr Pang believed there are two major points, one is about concentrating on core products and technology, including reinforcing technology & research innovation and maintaining core products’ leading position in market segments. Another point is focusing on core markets, extended the breadth and depth of market strategy to secure the rise of sales. On these bases, CAC achieved virtuous cycle for manufacturing, technology R&D and talent strategy. All these factors caused CAC sustainable development.

There are more challenges ahead the way, therefore CAC need to be centered on core market, customers and products in future, take flexible strategy to meet achievement again.
